This is my favorite David Bowie song and I would always jam on it in my practice space. My girlfriend, Natalie, enjoyed it so I decided to record it for her as a birthday gift. The idea was combining the chords and vibe of the original song with more of a 90's G-Funk style because for some reason it gave me the same vibe in my head. It was tracked and mixed in three days.
